MEET THE MIDWIVES
MICHELLE KILLINGSWORTH CNM
"As a midwife, I have the distinct privilege of working with women throughout the lifespan - from adolescence to child bearing and beyond menopause. My goal as a healthcare provider is to develop a partnership where the woman feels listened to, well informed, empowered, and expertly cared for."
Michelle graduated with a Masters of Science in Nurse Midwifery in 2010 from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, Kentucky (recently ranked the #1 Nurse Midwifery Program in the United States by US News & World Report). She received clinical training at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to becoming a midwife, Michelle attended nursing school at the College of Southern Maryland and gained valuable experience working as a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery for several years. Michelle is certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.
MARIE HERRICK, DNP, CNM
Marie attended Anne Arundel Community college for her undergraduate education, earning an RNFA certification. She went on to earn an MSN and a DNP from Frontier Nursing University in 2012 and 2016 respectively. Marie has worked as a Staff Certified Nurse Midwife since 2012, at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center and most recently at Tse’hootsooi’ Medical Center in Fort Defiance, AZ where she provided midwifery and gynecologic care to members of the Navajo Nation. She has participated in volunteer medical missions to Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Peru. Marie is a proud mother and grandmother. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, art, crafting, and spending time with family. Marie provides women's health care to patients of all ages from adolescence through menopause, and is currently accepting new patients in Manchester and Norwich.
JESSICA JONES, CNM
Jessica earned an Associates of Arts: Nursing degree at San Jacinto College in 2011, and then graduated from Capella University with a Bachelors in Nursing in 2018. In 2021, Jessica earned a Masters Nurse Midwife degree from Frontier Nursing University. Jessica brings years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. She cared for new mothers at several hospitals including Texas Children’s Hospital and Manchester Memorial Hospital. Most recently, she worked at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Jessica currently sees patients of all ages in Manchester. She provides a range of ObGyn services including well-woman exams, birth control counseling, and routine tests. She is accepting new patient appointments.
